P154N WORK CENTER
Universal Cutting System P154 N
The work center named P.154N is the CAM peripheral that technologically translates the cultural and productive heritage related to the shoe sole, enabling rapid and economical realization of sole models and everything necessary for the construction of components including the sole itself. It is also possible to produce carvings on soles (both leather and synthetic materials) for anti-slip purposes and any other application, including operations once typical of manual machines. The machine, made of stabilized steel, features a moving gantry with a maximum working surface of one meter by one meter. All movements run on prismatic guides and preloaded recirculating ball slides; transmissions are controlled by precision screws, also recirculating balls, driven by brushless motors. The three axes are simultaneously controlled. The electro-spindles are sized to safely handle both carving operations and cutting dies in PVC, bakelite, wooden presses, and their composites. Tool change on the spindles is manual; the tool is fixed with a nut and collet. The machine is equipped with two workpiece tables (400x450mm); the clamping of the soles on each worktable is ensured by a vacuum system with "double V" positioners for lighter operations, supported by positioning masks for heavier tasks (deep carvings, sole perforations). The machine architecture allows working with two different tools alternatively on each sole, or mounting two identical tools working a pair of right soles on one table and a pair of left soles on the other (where possible). Cutting of dies and presses can be performed either on the rear part of the working plane using the area not occupied by the vacuum tables (in practice, a 1000x1000mm sheet can always be physically loaded, but only 500x1000mm can be cut at a time; this saves setup time as the vacuum tables are not removed), or on the entire useful working surface to maximize the use of sheets, but with the vacuum tables removed. To facilitate the cutting of sheet materials, a sheet pressing device is mounted on the suction port of spindle no.1 to keep the material firmly in place and prevent vibrations. With the rolling device (C axis), it is possible to perform small grooves for stitching, notching, rolling, decorations, cutting of interlining for two-tone soles, etc., simultaneously with the carvings. The unit is equipped with an adjustable heating system to obtain a more or less visible effect on both leather and synthetic soles. With the C axis, it is also possible to perform precise and regular depth notches, both straight and reverse, thanks to the rigidity of the structure and the accurate precision of the accessories used.
